Security Engineering Intern
About the Role
The Security Engineering Intern will work with the security team on application and product security. You will participate in security assessments and research.
What You'll Do
- Assist with security code reviews
- Document security vulnerabilities
- Support penetration testing
- Contribute to security automation
- Research security threats
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed BS/MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Basic understanding of web application security concepts
- Programming experience in Python or similar language
- Interest in cybersecurity and ethical hacking
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- CTF (Capture The Flag) competition experience
- Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
- Experience with security tools (Burp Suite, Nmap, etc.)
- Previous bug bounty experience
